Re: A long time ago I asked a spiritual teacher to define the word "worship."
I read that the prayer that always works is to pray "thy will be done" that and praise ,thankyou ,are the two things that really lift you up.

A long time ago I asked a spiritual teacher to define the word "worship."
The teacher said, "Saying 'thank you.' "

Hi John , I think we are all in constant unity wih God so doing lunch is a prayer of thanks giving and appreciation even if sub conscious. Life is confusing at the best of times but the pace proceeds forward. We will know ...again??

Love your first line--how words can occupy each thought. I don't know too much about prayer anymore, because now we just do lunch--not that we have anything to say. But maybe we just like being with eachother.
Would be interested in your perspective about this kind of relationship.
John
