Re: It is the unlearning that we keep coming back to learn until we wake up.
Thanks for your insightful comment. Your thinking corresponds with that of many Christian Gnostic mystics. Interesting point of view.

Re: taking action in the world
I agree that we should take action out of compassion in every situation according to the situation itself instead of a preconceived set of "good intentions". As for being who I am, I cannot but be who I am, a heap of factors coming together as body, mind and speech, with mind as king. Thanks for the discussions in your comments.

taking action in the world
We must take action to help assist and heal. Did gandhi take action, did martin luther king take action che, and countless other activist throughout history have taken action out of love, balance and fairness. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. So drop doing good and be who you are, Spirit.

It is the unlearning that we keep coming back to learn until we wake up.

As each soul journeys to oneness, we each have life lessons to learn to reverse the karma of the past. We each have to learn that we are the only ones who can break the cycle of life and death and "Our Immortal Reality"(Gary Renaurd) by practicing unconditional forgiveness. However, each level of soul growth brings certain actions and responsiblities and lessons to learn. There is a level of learning compassionate justice and respect for the laws of civilization and these souls are responsible for providing balance and they are the bridge between the physical and spirit as civilization moves to oneness. As souls on higher planes are here to practice unconditional love and forgiveness, they need to remember the lessons of lower astral planes and allow soul growth with the non-judgement and love that they are here to practice and attain. This is the balance our planet. Unfortunately many of these souls while knowing they are here to promote unconditional love and forgiveness try to force everyone to believe as they do. While this is the goal for mankind, these are the very people who "Kill for Peace."
