Can't we just do a write in?
My preference would be Mickey Mouse or Bozo The Clown. Sorry but the politics at this point have simply become flat out stupid.
I wonder when all sides are going to get back to the things that really effect this country instead of slinging mud at one another.

Wiley one,
The number of scoundrels responsible for the U.S. tailspin over the last eight years, is probably surprisingly small. They would likely all fit into a high school auditorium. If somehow they were all rounded up and placed in this imaginary auditorium, there would be one of the largest gatherings of concentrated wealth in history, with multi-millionaires, and multi-billionaires who were shrewd enough and corrupt enough and arrogant enough to have stolen their wealth from most of the taxpaying U.S. population. If one were to ask for a show of hands, to determine political affiliation among this cream of audacious theives, a vast majority of them would be Republicans. For the most part, Democrats make their fortunes the "old fashioned way," through graft, bribes and kickbacks.
The Republicans, strip huge corporations, pension funds, and indeed entire financial institutions of nearly every penny of value, all in one bite! Screw the widows, orphans and taxpayers, I GOT MINE! They won't go to prison like a smalltime bank robber. They will go to the office on Monday morning, just like everyone who ISN'T a crook! If such a gathering of theives were to ever actually occur, the world would bee a better place if the doors of the auditorium were barred and the building were set afire!

That is one of the best written blogs I've had the pleasure to read. I follow all the political news on the TV and it is sickening news, and I hate seeing the U.S.A. in such dire straits.
I watched a program on health care in the U.S. tonight, done by Michael Moore and it too was a total shock. I'm in Canada and all I can say is I pray things turn around quickly because the entire world is drawn into what happens to the U.S.A.
Frankly I do hope Obama wins the election, if for no other reason than he has the advice of the Clinton's, who it seems to me had the fiscal side of governing under control or am I wrong about that? Thanks for posting.
