The church is like politics itself. Religions are like political parties. Denominations are like political clubs. They differentiate in order to influence and maintain. Each suggests it is better than the other. Each claims it has the keys to heaven.
Those who would not vote for Senator Obama, or those who would not vote for Senator McCain, based on to which church the one or the other goes, or who either of his minister is, will not vote for him anyway. This is simply a rationalization. Don't get your dander up.

hate and churches
I absolutely enjoyed that post. Perhaps churches are houses of hate and perhaps they're simply preparing their troops for war.
When it comes down to it...rich white men are for themselves as Muslims are for themselves and so on and so forth. It is impossible to be for everybody since everyone is just too different. It is always about power. And so peoples lifelines will cross each other and then push comes to shove and so forth. Everybody loving and respecting each other is just a myth.
I said before it's all who you identify with. Obama obviously identifies with a white American hating styled church and somewhere in the mid-west rich white Christian men are making business deals and talking trash about Muslims. And by the way they all denounce gays, that is Muslims and Christians alike.

They are "Rapture Ready" and according to the current preacher, expecting Alaska to become all that is left of US and Canada when Jesus returns.

Many good things said in your article ...
... any religion that preaches they better than others is a violation to humankind and ... then we're into many religions of that kind.
I'm an European and I see Obama as a good candidate for the next President of USA - it's only his religion that makes him dangerous: for the Palestine people! He follows the Bible in helping the Zionists (fascists) of the Israel state to occupy, steal, the land of Palestines. The State of Israel is doing ethnic cleansing on a sophistic level, with the support of the USA power (also some European countries in a more or less outspoken manner) ... and it's incredible that Obama don't "see" it ... I thought he was an intelligent man but, I see the religion has made him blind, unfortunately ... outside his religious faith I support him (but of course I cant vote).
... The Zionists are doing the same to the Palestines as the Nazies did to the Jews (WW II) but only in a differnt way ... you don't have to be so very intelligent to see it, but ... of course not for people with Zionist ideas, 'cause, they're into the "blindness of religion".
