I guess that comes under "promote the general welfare". I guess pretty much everything government can get away with comes under that clause. But if we get teeth care for the elderly now, it might still be there when I reach elderly. So it must be a basic right.

I too read somewhere exactly what you say, "the Founding Fathers visited the leaders of the Mormon church in the temple in Salt Lake City, and asked to have baptisms for the dead performend for them, so they could be Mormons in Eternity. It was something of a letdown to learn they were just money-grubbing exploiters of the working class". Lots of times we are led into believing things through constant lies that are, we later discover, totally untrue. Well written
