RSM -- you either don't get it; or you are attempting to skew it to make it appear to be something that it's not.

It's not a "woman" in particular. It's the person, herself. I am sure that you will agree that we should not be choosing a woman just because she's a woman, or a Black just because he's Black, but by the quality of the person. By virtually any measuring device, it would seem Sarah Palin falls short in quality (see my newest, THE PACIFIST -
WHO'S LEAST ABLE TO RUN OUR COUNTRY: OBAMA OR PALIN? for a good comparison).

It's obvious that Ms. Palin's qualifications pale in comparison to Mr. Obama's.

I know you have a hard time with the concepts of logic, reasoning, facts and so on, but to make a comment such as that one, which has nothing of value in it and really shows a truly high level of ignorance is site... Well it is you still surprising me at just how low you are able to sink.

Looking at the McCain /Palin ticket, there is really nothing at all to be worried about. They can't win this one. They just don't have what it takes.

I have no problem at all with a woman becoming President or VP and I would love to know what reasoning you are using to support you claim here. Now I don't want Palin as VP, because I seriously do not for one moment think that she is going to be good for this country. Just because Palin is a woman does not mean I have problems with any woman being in power. Basically once more you are saying 2+2=5 without even trying to figuring a defense for saying that.

By your own logic here, you are a racist because you are against Obama. I would never make the claim that just because you are against Obama that you don't want to see a black man become President, because I am unable to sink to your childish level. Our issue with Obama are not because he is a black man just as my issue with Palin have nothing to do with her being a woman.

You basic idea here shows you are clueless about the whole women's movement thing. You see having a woman as VP just to have a woman as VP is not really a good thing for the women's movement. Now if it were a strong woman who was worthy of the job and got picked because of her skills and experience and such, that would be different. Palin got picked because she was a woman and that was about it. If anything Palin actually represents backtracking in the women's movement, not progress.

kooka_lives- the "Palin bounce" as it has been referred to, will inevitably

hit the ground again.

I guessed at 3 weeks before the shine began to come off of the apple, it is now going on 4 weeks but the inevitable is happening. The woman is an ambitious liar and born again fundie, eventually she will only have appeal amongst born again fundies with a penchant to lie . . . to themselves.
