God Bless You
Hang in there. Take each day as it comes. If that doesn't work take each hour. Each minute. God Bless You

A path
I had to make a path to the bed in the guest bedroom. When Brooke and Scott moved in last year all my "stuff" got thrown in there. I had my angels helping but it took both of us each day.

Oh, Skye, how ever do you manage? And what happened to the wonderful help you had last week (or the week before) - like the wonderful Betty? Some days when I read you posts I wish I could pop on over for an hour or two to give you a hand.

My father in law is deteriorating quickly with Alzheimers, but he lives in an Assisted Living facility about 1,000 miles away in Tenn. Even with that round the clock care, his daughter, my sis-in-law, must contantly be vigilant in how staff work with him. So, I can't even imagine what you are going through and the sleep deprevation. You really need to take care of yourself, and I hope someone can do that for you! Mal

Re: Is it possible to get someone to come in for a few hours a week so you can

Yes, I have a volunteer who comes once a week if Richard will let him come. He comes and reads the Bible to Richard and I can run out for an hour. Richard has been sick with pnuemonia 2x in the past 2 months and hasn't wanted me to leave. I'm so tired I don't feel like getting out anymore. We're back to the 3am wakeup call every morning.

Is it possible to get someone to come in for a few hours a week so you can
get away for a walk or shop or have a coffee. You are going to experience burn out at this rate.
