Yes.. sometimes we lose ourselves in another but it’s in that moment that we recognize we’ve lost some of our identity that we can begin to reclaim it.

These days I think I see myself fairly clearly, but there were times - years - when other people defined me. What's mirrored in someone else's eyes is often backward.

BEautifully said Jen... Its very true that when we lose ourselves in another's eyes sometimes we do so literally. Its not easy to retain our elf when we melt into love... Great poem!
