I hear 'ya, whacky!
And I am a hopeless TV addict. I can live without it but I AM a political junkie none the less. I'm not better off than I was 8 years ago by a long shot so I hope everyone goes out Nov. 4th and VOTES! My sister turns 7-0 that day and I'm flying out the next day to spend the weekend partying with her...it will be interesting since half our family votes red and the other half votes blue. Some of us will enjoy the party! What I'm sick of is those insulting political blurbs I keep getting emailed from the other side...... woof, woof, meow xs 6 -- And I approve of THOSE 4 legged messages!

Even in the UK
Yes, we even get them over here! And won't I be glad when you have a new President. Three quarters of our news is taken up with the Presidential Race and the credit crunch. Oh what joyous times we all live in!

Whacky, I'm with ya!
What cracks me up is when McCain will have one ad, followed immediately by an Obama ad and back to back like that i feel a bit psychotic. Just imagine all the money being spent on ads, and how this could be used to pretty much solve world hunger (or so it would seem)!!

Hi Whacky...TV insults my intelligence to no end...
and I am very thankful that I got rid of mine nearly 10 years ago. It does have some merit, but if I had one I'd throw it out the window this very second in rebellion of those horrible politicians...It's been so long but as I recall, their ads make them look like bratty little kids in the school yard....

We are tired of them too, but it is going to get worse the closer it gets to the election.
Hello to Bo from the entire crew here.

Tiffany wants to know if Bo has to roll over on his back with his four legs pointing straight up, to get a dog biscuit treat.

Wacky
I know exactly what you mean that it becomes difficult to tell if the ads are for or against. When ads are reduced to subtle mud-slinging you start to wonder who’s saying what. It's all crap - pop the remote in the freezer.

I am trying to use the remote turn off my
own synapses, since it seems impossible to stop this garbage that's wafting at us from all directions, all day! And I have to contend with
two elections, yours and our own...

, and a pat for the woofer...

You know Whacky, Maybe I have short-term memory loss or something, but I don't remember politicians or anyone approving ads in the last election. When did that start?

Give Bo
a rub down from me. Lucky for me, Japanese TV doesn't show American political ads... but I sure do enjoy your posts!

You make me smile, if not out right LOL! It is nice to know that the TV remote will work after some time in the freezer

"Did you know that a TV remote still works after being frozen and then defrosted?" I did not know that!! good one. I'm tired of the political ads too. I'll be glad when this election is finally over.

Not being in America right now, I don't see any ads, but I loved your remarks about the remote.
