When i was a kid on the playground in school,
when we played games we chose up teams. Whatever team we played for, we gave it our all but we were bright enough to know that when the game was over we all returned to the same classroom. Democrat a word meaning, you want to help poor people. Republican a word meaning, you want to hang out with the rich people. And in the end we all have to live in the same world.

Half a point or no half a point, the real issue is that they seem to wish to make it look like the Democrats are dirtier than the Republicans. They love to keep on pointing out all the 'evil' the Dems do, while they ignore all the stuff their own side is doing. I really grow tired of the hypocrisy they seem to embrace at every turn.

kooka_lives -this time they almost have a point, not quite, but still close
As close to a point as they are ever likely to get. Xeno-x, having worked for ACORN will bear me out on what I am about to say. They are an organization with an extremely important and worthy reason for existence that walks a conflict of interest tightrope that is begging to blow up in their faces. It has in the past and it will again. They ask for it by incorporating voter registration into their mandate, an activity that by its very nature should not be undertaken by a social organization with their tax status. But the real problems occur in how they register voters. Basically they hire poor folks off the streets, give them a daily quota of voter sign ups and if they miss their quota, they are fired. This is a system that is begging for abuse.
Accusations of being an "illegal organization" aside, they almost have a point. Half a point is better than no point.

We need to give them a break. They are loosing big time right now and the actions of their party's candidate are only making it all worse. Such poor conceived outburst are only natural at this point. They both need some warm milk and to be read to and they should calm down and get a nice nap in.

RSM, RITE
Yes, all the Democrats are as dirty as it gets and all the Republicans are clean and scandal free I am sure. I am sure Bush and McCain have no links to any questionable activity or organizations after all.
Are you two really that desperate? If that is all you got, then you really are showing that you know your side has lost this election and are just right now scrapping the bottom of the barrel for anything you can find to attack with.
Seriously both of you just grow up and see that neither the Democrats or the Republicans are any cleaner when it comes to these kinds of things. Like it or not that is just a fact of politics.
I am a little puzzled as how that has anything to do with the post though. Unless of course RITE is now saying McCain is connected to ACORN. Most likely this is one of the Republican tactics to get off subject and ignore the facts of the matter and the real issues through childish distractions.

kooka_lives - I've said it before, this blog gets the funniest comments
But I wonder; are we talking nuts falling from trees or the acronym for a well known community action group? . . . maybe a little of both?

Re: Re: Posted by RITE2SPIN
Thanks for admitting you have worked for and supported such an illegal organization. Nothing like setting up a front of mortgages for the poor meanwhile giving money to the democrat party then being a fraud in setting up voter registration and as the person completes the registration you are telling them to vote for all democrats. Wow, you must be proud. So in what capacity did you work for this illegal organization?

I worked for them once -- good organization -- have to be good if Republicans vilify them -- right?
