Bush is a boob, but the media developed an understandable hate crush on him and so most people especially leftist are now Bush hate-addicts.
Let me tell you something which of course you'll find appalling.
I think hate is a perfectly valid emotion. It has it's place and time. However hate, like love can become all-consuming and destroy you.
Hatred of Bush is consuming many a mind in this world. Many won't know what to do once he is gone.
As for the repubs/dems they really are two-sides of the same coin. Both have their propaganda and their one-dimensional canned humans that always spout the party rehtoric.
The some stray and those are the individuals

And in truth I still don't compared to so many. Of course anyone who has lived in this country and seen all the harm Bush and the Republicans have done to us, really has to become more serious about politics right now if we want a better future for this country. Have you read the posts by the various conservatives here? They are so warped in the head they actually believe that Obama is some kind of anti-Christ, ready to turn this country Muslims for communist or they feed some other load of BS nonsense about all the horrors that will befall us if Obama wins.
Go and start preaching to them that they need to stop taking it all so seriously.
On a small note for you, not being a 'one issue' kind of person and having a mind all of my own (Unlike so many conservatives who are often 'one issue' people or they let their party tell them how to think on every issue) I actually disagree with the Democrats' stance on gun control. So that issue is already meaningless to me. Of course you hear them brining up that issue very rarely right now, because they would rather deal with the real issues.

.You're correct. The repubs will never get rid of abortion or unions and the dems will never get rid of handguns.
This is why I'm urging you to take politics less seriously.
