One of the things we have to do in our lives, to stay sane, is to create a
place of personal balance within all the turmoil of our lives, and the lives with which we are entwined. Acceptance of all that happens... Appreciation for what is beautiful and stable, when other things are not... Ability to move on into the next thing... That you can do this, and thus be an anchor to those around you less adept, or in a greater turmoil at the moment, is what makes you a natural for the work you've chosen.

It is amazing how fast healing
can occur when we are outside connecting with earth and sky at the same time.
On your comment about a holiday for me. I did respite care that hospice allows for 5 days. Richard went to a nursing home. I stayed home and rested and his nephew and niece visited and he had the two best nurses I know as it turned out to take care of him. One I had worked with and the other my cousin. He still had me doing phone run around with complaints and called me 4am. He missed the part about REST. You can read my Blog in July on the 17th-22. Blessings to you
