I relate- I can make something new and it looks old and used! Some talents are well hidden. Lol Overkill or torture when desire is success.

You sound like us here in my family, but the problem is I rent and I hate calling the landlord after owning a condo for 20 years but at least you can call a maintenance or handy man

A good reliable handyman is hard to find. Have a great day!

I can identify with your feelings about home maintenance! I have to travel often, and evey time I'm back home, something needs fixing! Thanks too for stopping by!

...that's what a good 'Handyman,' is for...
...they hang out at Home Depot parking lots.. try a few until you find a really good one and then hire him steady... it's good for the economy.. providing a job.. and you'll save in the long run from attempted and costly self repair disaters.. I understand your situation.. as I get older I just have less patience for it and would rather hire it done...

"There is nothing around here, that I can't mangle!" Brilliant. A post to my heart. I am exactly the same. Meet vogue, the domestic she-devil. By the way, I took your  comment absolutely in the spirit it was meant.
