It's tough deciding! There are so many bells and whistles and you just know that there will be wonderful new ones a week after you commit to a purchase. One of the most important things is to check out the menu and make sure you are going to be comfortable using it, that it gives you all the options you want.

Ciel, have you ever considered writing for a digital photography website
like Hub? They don't pay much, but they do pay...I got a $170 payment from them recently. They pay $10 per article and have incentives and revenue sharing. If you're interested, check them out here:

Good info! I'll have to check if Staples offers the same trial period here in Canada, and then I have to see if they sell SLRs. I
still haven't got one yet - been too busy to do any more research, let alone shopping...
