You raise my eyes to the sky to search for stars. It must be so impressive ,we do not always go outside in the evening so we miss out so much! The lights of the community dim the heavenly glow.

There are certain rewards for not sleeping...
Catching a fine sunrise is another, for getting up early--or going to bed very, very late!

I'm sorry you couldn't sleep but
Your island sounds like heaven. Your description is so beautiful. I play a soundsscape of the ocean or of a stream rippling over river rocks. When politics will be over, I'll be able to turn the TV down so I can hear it and relax better.
