The boulders don't actuall block the door-- they make a little yard:

sort of a rock hedge.  But the door itself is rusted shut, and will not open short of one of Gandalf's opening spells.  (I admit I hae not tried hollering "Friend!" at it in either English or Elvish.  Perhaps I should...?)

Actually, this picture is a few years old, and the area no longer looks quite the same. I will see if I can get another shot of it soon.
