There is a Good News Testament in
the revised edition of the New Testament. I also like the Book of Thomas and the Aramaic Bible. It would be an interesting series.

I think this does deserve a focus, a blog of its own.
This one is about life, it is a journal and I suspect many of your readers enjoy it as such. What you're suggesting is more in the line of teaching and sermon, and might well put some readers off your journal.
Consider also, though you pay more for 2 more blogs, you get more readers and therefore are just as likely to break even.
And you get the third one to play with, too! For recipes or something. I would read recipes! Or photos: photos are well-recieved on Blogit! Poetry, too. Messages from members of the parish? That would get my attention! ( Kingmi has sometimes posted the essays of his students, which are always interesting, and often inspiring, in his 'hometown' blogs.)
