Ah...reading - what can I say? A guilty pleasure for me every time I pick up a novel! At least, when I read Eco, for example, I can tell myself it's not
just a novel...BTW: I loved your comment 'What'? LOL! And another thing: I'm thinking of getting a Nikon 90D, finally...

A very fascinating book review it is. I read
Shogun long before the TV mini series came out. As you say, the book was a compelling read and ruined my chances of enjoying the TV
Shogun (as usually happens to me when good books are turned into movies).

A good book should be read in the original language, but you are right - sometimes the language is too difficult and it becomes just words. When I get hold of a book that truely catch me I am hopeless. I can read anywhere, while cooking, in front of the tv, while on the phone... just hopeless
