it has all been said before and it is still never enough. those who slight generosity and laugh away compassion, are always round the corner- but must they be powerful always? thanks for that wonderful post. my day's turned even brighter now :)

Wonderful post, Gapcohen. My dad made sure that his six daughters were well aware of that chapter in Proverbs. At a very early age, he had me memorize the verses starting with "Who can find a virtuous woman...."

That “nurturing” aspect of women presents itself in so many areas of our lives – from mothering, to reaching out to an ailing friend, to making a house a home, and (as your article points out) to helping out when it just appears to be the right thing to do. We rarely question the “who” of whom we’re helping but rather focus on the “why”. Great article!

I needed this article! I have been burned over the past year due to helping others! I said I wasn't going to help anyone again! However, this article has righted my ship once again and I realize that I can't stop because a couple of people took advantage of my kindness! Thank you so much Mal.
