I have seen many wild turkeys this past summer, on my bicycle rides into the hills. Gorgeous big birds! Never had my camera along though, and on the one occasion when I tried to use the camera on my cell phone, the whole process took too long and they had disappeared into the brush by the time I was ready.
As to shooting them - I decided some time ago that the only shooting I would do henceforth would be with a camera...(though not with a cell phone camera - the damn things are useless...)
