It’s those quiet spoken people – the one’s who say very little – that you have to pay attention to because when they eventually say something it’s usually informed and on the mark. I know... I live with one.

Yep!
It's interesting.. when a person speaks in a low tone of voice.. just under what would be considered their inside voice, it forces people to listen.. if the "loudmouths" would try that.. maybe people would listen to what they are saying.. but of course .. perhaps they don't really care what we hear..

Mike...you are my new guru... I totally and emphatically agree with you... There are so many people out there that think they can bully their ideas through by yelling and name calling. Sometimes the news is so one sided it makes me sick. I loved what you just said. Your dad was indeed a very wise man. Great post!
