I Think that by now absolutely everything has been said about the elections and anyway, my American "soul brothers and sisters" are nearly there. So, I think you did well to concentrate on water slides. Why not?

Is there a connection
between water slides and politicians' promises made on dry land?

This is a great break from all the political stuff! It is wearing me down and this cheered me up. I am glad you liked my little humor! I loved it too! It was staged very well. sammy

thanks, Naut and Ciel. To make it interesting - I get two newspapers delivered every morning; The New York Times and the Stamford Advocate. The Times, of course, came out for Obama. The Advocate just endorsed McCain. And my own family is like the Civil War. I can't wait till it's all over and we can get back to the business of government!

I'm with Ciel! I am completely fed up with all that tedious political activism, including my own, lol, which is why I didn't do much this year in our election. Of course, I knew my guy would win, as he did...
So just give us more travel writing. And I haven't been on a nice water slide in years...

To tell the truth, I would just about rather read anything than more
campaign schlock. Even from the candidates I support.
