. . .lay with me.. .
nostalgic. . . I shall remember this every moment our lonely star is extinguished by the evening suns.

I did read this one yesterday, in between things, and was going to comment when I got side-tracked. I was going to tell you about the prettiest place ever that I can remember lying in the grass. It was in Yankee Boy Basin in a field of blue columbines and red Indian paint brush with twin waterfalls to one side and mountain peaks all around. It was quite romantic and I'll never forget the place in the middle of a tortuous four-wheel-drive trip in the San Juan Mountains. We went there a couple of times since and it never disappoints.

A beautiful poem ...
... it's vital to sometimes look at the good times in the past and let it grow into present -

Fantastic
and takes me backs to the summer evenings when I'd lay on my back on the endless riverbanks of my youth.

Superb write my dear Sinome
picturesque and so vivid - I can see it all in my mind's eye and even felt the wistfulness at the end; beautifully done as always my friend; many blessings for an excellent weekend and thanks for sharing this beauty

Those lines, as sam says, is pure magic. You seem to cast such a spell with your word painting that all the heat of the desert sands cools

Hello my darlin' friend! Well this is magical and I especially liked:
while you gave me that sweet kiss, so nice
and as the stars come out we'll head home
together we will wait for what is to come
and hope to see
another sun
This just game me goose bumps! I love you as much as the distance around jupiter.
And then a little MORE! How are you today? And how are the grandchildren doing as well! Sammy xoxo
