You know that you see and feel life outside looking in this piece is deep!

When winning and being ahead of the pack is important, only the 'right' moves count. When living with oneself counts, then one becomes a foreigner. Some girl songs even say...lie to me! Swimming against the current is rough but you get to keep your sanity! Excellent way of highlighting the corruption in society!

Great poem, cpklapper. It is quite unique and the words bring agreement. There's an old son that sings, "I am a stranger here within a foreign land...." You've got me singing it.

Re: I swear to tell the lie, the whole lie, and nothing but the lie
Thank you, calia14. I have been feeling like I should apologize for not adopting deception to succeed.

I swear to tell the lie, the whole lie, and nothing but the lie
I like the way you moved around that poem, almost apologizing for not being a liar.

Re:
Thank you, Jenn, for your comments.
Would you send me a link to the movie you want to embed? Also, did you see the video I embedded in my comment on your blog?
Here is another video of the late, great Swedish tenor, Jussi Bjorling:

funny how we can feel so alienated and strange in our very own domicile dear...and I always admire your frame of mind. Thank you dear for you kind help at my plugin issue...and yes, it was my own typo error. "Text/html" it was dear. I am doing just as you said and I have no luck putting videos again...only pictures are being accepted. And also, it's sad that a lot of bloggers are having a hard time opening my blogs as they said so. I dont know if is the same problem. Thank you my dear. My best wishes on your books.

Thanks for stopping by. Glad you liked this poem, which had been lying around since last year.

Wonderful poem Carl, not many write about honesty now a days, wonder why ...:-) ... you did it well and your integrity shines through your fine verses. Bravo!

Superb. Honesty, one often gets the impression, has become a hopelessly devalued currency.
