I liked going from suddenly today to the very definition of Tomorrow! Awesome!
Side bar: regarding the prove you wrong on my lyric poem, when I publish a poem, I am out of it and it is up to my reader to glean what they will. My poetry is never about me but may contain parts of me. Once published I am disassociated from it and it is merely a poem to me. Reading any more into is futile! I do understand where you thought the first stanza was enough. It came together in rhyme and the rest of it builds upon the premise of the first stanza. It is something I will look at in the future to see if it needs to follow rhyme all the way through! I appreciate your comment! I am late returning a response due to fierce migraines these last 5 days! Thanks for your visits as well. sam

Very self reflective John... Beautifully written. Loved the double entendre nd the way you drenched those lines in meaning. There is nothing superfluous, every word is perfectly placed. Bravo!!!
