I loved your post! I have four girls, the youngest is 7 and I don't miss your days at all! It does get better. I'm impressed by how well you are handling a baby and writing. Way to go!

Nice introduction!
I too am fairly new to the Blogit community. Blogging has been a true stress reliever for me, but I've enjoyed meeting and reading others too. My thoughts are with you as my husband and I have a five-year-old boy who gave me the same wonderful times you are now experiencing. Be encouraged! Your nipple won't have to hang out forever...unless Sucky has detachment issues...

Admire you honest approach to life. Would look forward to more insights into the world of sleaze, grease and striptease! Just for some hard lessons in human psychology.

Hilarious title!! I laughed my way through your post.
Welcome to blogit, and congrats on your newborn Sucky boy. Sounds like you'll be busy for the next 18 or so years. Good luck!

Very well written
Makes me glad I'm not a dad. Although I guess I don't have to do the breastfeeding part either way.

Welcome to Blogit! I'm sure you'll find that it can be addictive, especially at first, and that you'll spend a lot of time here. I wasn't working when I first joined and posted pretty much every day in all my blogs. Good intro and I laughed immediately at the sucking thing.....my daughter (now a mother herself who has nursed 3 for almost 2 yrs each!) was just like your son....always wanting me. I finally talked to the pediman about it and he told me to break down and get a pacifier for the poor child, that some children have much stronger sucking desires than others, they aren't really hungry, they just need to suck...probably sucked their thumbs in the womb. I was steadfast against the nasty things but the minute he explained this to me, I bought one and we were both better off.....I finally decided she needed to be introduced to germs to build up her immune system anyway. Just a thought, in case you haven't talked to your doc about it. Nursing became genuine mealtimes....there was no gas from sucking in air all the time....and she was very content with her "nuk-nuk" the rest of the time.
