Ciel, This is what my grandson (adult not child) loves to do more than anything when he's not working or with his fiance. I enjoy watching him play. I've never tried it myself. I don't know if it is the same thing you do or not but it surely does sound similar.

I certainly sounds like fun and, in some much less committed way than you, I am also fond of Middle Earth! But Im having enough trouble coping with the players in my real world, to add more of them in a virtual one...
And I like your suggestions of things one could call 'Zamboni', although it's not an ice-sweeping machine, but an ice-making one...
