A wonderful post and yes positive thinking while the purse is
shrinking will get us through as it did our parents and grandparents.

Great post. I've had similar feelings as I sat staring out the window. I can't believe this one http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/ZenMom/508916  was nearly one year ago. Hope all is well with you. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

This is a great little post.  Lots packed in to one paragraph.  Wonderful imagery.

There is a lot of determination in that plant to blossom!

Wonderful

That actually inspired me this morning. Thanks for that! I woke up to about 3" of snow on the ground, which had truly deflated me for a moment, and then I read this about the beautiful pink flower. Nature has a way for sure.

Amen :)

gap
Our backyard too has that slightly forlorn look about it, though we still have the green from a wall of cedars; but winter came early this year, the lawn is blanketed in snow, and so is the deck, where only a couple of tables remain. Some pots as well, the herbs long since wilted...And I really like Jacob's attitude - quite unlike the casual disinterest in things like flowers so common among most teenagers...

I adore Jacob's outlook! But I am not surprised because he has you for a Mom! I love it too! It gives me great hope as I try to remain optimistic! Have a great week Mal!!! Sammy

I hate the cold and we need a lot more Jacobs around here :) Whether out in the open, or obliterated, the Sun will rise every day. Sometimes, just knowing that feels good. When the clouds tire, the shine will come through. Keep the hope 'bloomin':)))
