I don't do McDonald's much, their burgers taste flat to me
However, had I known, I would have written them supporting their support for the LGBT people.
And I will now write Pepsi regarding that.
We all have the right to boycott business we disagree with. I do.
But the pressure put on McDonald's was too much.
This is a religious group forcing their religion down a business's throat -- it is a violation of the spirit of the Constitution

I don't really know about the gay lesbian thing but as far as I go, mcdonalds more than pepsi should have to put a warning label on everything they sell, being they are a major contributor to america being one of the most obese countries in the world. They sell our children shit and then charge them for it. What's next free cigs with a happy meal.

I don't listen to Limbaugh because he is a total idiot and has never had anything of value to say. I have tried, but since everything that comes out of his mouth is as idiotic as it gets, I would never wish to lower my intelligence by listening to him or pretending to take him seriously.
Why did you use the word "extort" here? There are no signs at all that gay rights groups are 'extorting' money from these companies. That sounds like paranoid propaganda to me. In the future when you wish to make such accusations, please provide actual proof. Otherwise you are spreading possible lies, and doing such is not a sign of integrity.
I have no problem at all with those groups having the freedom to express their anti-freedom beliefs. At no point did I say they should not be allowed to. I just said that I was saddened that McDonalds gave into the pressure from those groups and that I hope PepsiCo shows that they would rather stand by the ideas of freedom than cave into an anti-freedom agenda.
I did find it interesting that you are using the ideas of free speech to defend a group that is clearly against the true ideas of freedom. But I guess that is one of the great things about freedom. Those who so hate freedom that they wish to do all they can to take it away from people, which is what the AFA is all about, are free to promote their anti-freedom message all they want. We can only hope that there are enough rational minded people who understand freedom, who will ignore such groups to make sure they do not have any real influence on others.
Hope you have a good Thanksgiving.

What's the difference between the pressure applied by the Gay groups to extort money from these companies and these groups......all the family groups are doing is urging people to express themselves by not "giving them the business".
You don't listen to say, Rush Limbaugh, because you don't agree, you probably don't hesitate to tell others not to listen in......what's the difference?
Why would you want to take this freedom of expression away from these people....do you now support taking away freedoms?
