Thanks, Guy!
But I don't think you have anything to worry about -- you're pretty darned good reading yourself!

Your epic yarn!
Strat,
You are the BEST! I always enjoy reading what you write, but this one topped everything else. Each time I look at something that I wrote and think to myself, "You are getting to be pretty good at this writing stuff," I read something that you wrote, and things drop back into perspective. I agree with whoever said that this should be published. To quote Wayne and Garth, "We are not WORTHY!" Cudos my friend.

Thanks, Wylie! It wasn't so much my brother as my
first cousin, the Lying Avenger.

This is fabulous! I love how you inadvertently got even! I loved it and I thought about the property we owned in Michigan that had some swamp land. The story was very smooth to read and totally kept my attention! You are a fine storyteller! sam

Great writing, strat.
For some strange reason, it kept making my mind wander to life with my four sons back in the '60s and '70s.

that was such a good story you held me to the end, never mind it took
awhile to read. It was worth it. Y' know you really are a great talent.

Bravo!
Reminiscent of one of my favorite southern authors, Pat Conroy. Not so much in content as in voice but equally as captivating! Cute, cute story. Thanks for the bedtime pick-me-up.
