It is important part of our existence to believe in something more than ourselves. I do belive there is a higher power although i ponder why religion is the cause of all our wars on this planet.

you have posted a wonderful post here. It is because of people that I don't
go to church. All I ever did was get upset by others or sometimes even my own fault so I carry God inside me and keep focused as much as I can. A daily quiet time with my God helps me way more than fussing about whether the roof needs repairs.

Wonderful Post!
Justi, you are right on! Sadly, many have been injured in churches over the years. God does not sanction wrong action or words by those who claim to be His. Religion is not worth 2 cents but a REALATIONSHIP with Father God is our ticket to an eternity with HIM!

Amen! Far too many people attach themselves to the building and/or the tenet! In reality, we are the Lord's temple and He is not concern with temples made by man! I know the true Christians in my own religion simply by the way they embrace me! There are those who place emphasis on the material world and I pray for them. It is far better to store one's treasures in heaven than in the pocketbook so to speak! Nice essay for understanding! sam
