It sounds terrific. Especially from indoors.

We got some snow too, but mostly just cold. The morning started out warm with all my windows open to freshen the inside air (60
o at 0900). By 1000 it was dropping fast and I had to close everything up. Now it is 7
o. That's a drop of 53
o in little more than 12 hours. I don't know if that's a record or not, but it is pretty bone-chilling out side and I think I'm going to bake something even though its almost midnight.

Here in southern Ontario we have currently a balmy 42 degrees under a cloudy sky, melting all the snow! Which, however, doesn't prevent us from having a chicken in the oven as well! This must be the universal chicken-for-supper day...

blue skies, clouds scattered about in every form and shape you
can imagine, and a balmy 63 degrees F. Your story made me long for such a place what with you painting such lovely sights, scents and sounds with little lyrical tire tracks

sunny here and 45 degrees
Too warm for a fire, though I have a turkey meatloaf on deck for dinner tonight! Long-roasted chicken sounds perfect for a snowy day. Mal
