Re: The song by Sting....
Thanks metalrat! Renewal is the goal! Being able to RESET is another! We do not come with those convenient knobs! So we get it done all the same!

The song by Sting....
...called
All This Time ends with the line..."
People go crazy in congregations, they only get better one by one." The world changes one person at a time. May you find rest and renewal for another day.

Yep! Those who have not been under fire should take notes. It will be a great day when we can embrace each other as brothers and sisters...rather than go into other obscene relationships!

bleak and yet furied
You rail without faltering in the face of perceived darkness. Many of those who appear to be on the side of devils are just too wounded to see there is another way. Some (if not all) can be led towards a healthy path using love and understanding. Of course the trick with that is to avoid distraction to the point where you neglect yourself... things can be very tricky.

Oh Christ! Where are you? Is the light coming this Christmas or do we remain in the darkness of Advent?

Re: darkness is the other side to light dear friend. Look for the light
Thanks Kabu! Right now the light is battling the dark....and winning! Soon, I feel we shall have a victory. I try to be on here as much as I can. There are bad people who stomp on the floor above my room. They deprive me of sleep and cause me to avoid this room. I am hoping a solution comes up. Back home a machete, sharpened on both sides, would solve that problem! lol

Re: Sinome
Yes, the dark side is very powerful. It is always devising new strategies from within, with help from outside. I am going to have to power up my will-power and use strategies to nullify it! It keeps getting busted and re-surfacing in some other way! I'm tired of the same fight ! The dice is really loaded against us!

Re: Interesting...
Thank You Phoenix! I am sure you know what you are talking about. People's stories vary. I have been a good boy all my life and I see the falterings and failings which have led people into degradation. The dark side is at the core of all unhappiness.I will not have a different view. I will hold them to their crimes. I will bring their doings up for attention because it is morally wrong to hurt innocent people. Perhaps this is judgemental or critical of them. I have no wish to interact with them and they will pay for what they did to me! I do help souls in my way. Hope I made my story a little clearer!

Re: sam444
I agree except that the dice is loaded. To not to obey society can be hazardous to health. When little girls tell me that 'the crew won't screw it'....are they not programmed into a lifestyle that they will go into and accept. Sadly sex first and love after is the most popular female paradigm. Then they ask....where has the love gone? Societal practices must be rebelled against. That's where the restraint comes in!

Thanks Mariaki! People feel impotent when the problems are known....but they can't effect a solution.

Thanks guy! Much of living has gone along dark side roads. You mentioned 2 of the principal areas.

for it is there. Rest your weary mind for awhile if you need to but we miss you when you aren't here.

101... the "dark side" as you call it its really all powerful... so what is one to do... I am kind of tired of fighting dragons and windmills... does that make me weak? perhaps... or maybe just tired.... Be well my friend.

Interesting...
I've been on both sides. I can honestly say I'm much happier now. I'm not looking over my shoulder and I'm not exhausted. My life is truly *good*. However, because I am imperfect (as we ALL are) and I have done things in my life of which I am not proud, I am a lot less quick to judge. I found myself in places I never thought I would and I now see how things happen. I have helped far more people who need a nonjudgmental ear by showing compassion than by criticizing. We all arrive at the truth at some point, on our own schedule. Whether or not we are willing to accept that truth is another story entirely.

It would help if everyone would avoid being dragged into the dark side, male and female! It takes great resistance but it can be done. I don't think anyone can be lured into anything they don't want. If women are being used in this manner, they need to say no and the men need to say no! It is not one sided in my humble opinion. Restraint needs to be a two way street. sam

I find the dark side expressed in religion like John Calvin explained it, and in history like the causes of the American Revolutionary War.
