What is the saying? Find something you would do for nothing, then find a way to get paid for it....or along those lines. I, too, tend to believe that, unless you're financially strapped, it would be wise to keep doing what you enjoy. Eventually it should pay. Good luck whatever your decision.

Re:
Thanks vogue, I'll give them a try. And you're right: I'm not starving (my Mann does have a well-paid job. But it's just that, I'm used to be financially independent).

It was so 'herzerfrischend' to read this post. I am in exactly the same situation. So many things to do, although with me it's only the writing. 'Lawyering' is definitely a thing of the past although the dough from that keeps me in bread an butter. I'd say, do what you really want to do, as I have done. You aren't starving and the articles and other writing will eventually pay. Never give up hope. I'm starting on trazzler too and over time, we'll make some money there as well. Have you tried go-world-travel? Check it out, they pay quite well. I have submitted two pieces and am waiting to hear. Good is also http://www.intheknow.com/. I have to thank ariala for these leads, but am happy to pass them on. Thanks for your encouraging words re: my visitors.
