It's so easy to forget the little things, those mundane, but otherwise wonderful moments that make life worth living. Happy New Year to you too.

Holiday Food
Christmas breakfast was the high point of the day for me.  My daughter turned on the oven first thing; she was hungry.  When the sound (which I've never been quite sure what to name) told us the oven was pre-heated, she wandered into the kitchen, away from the stockings we were working through, and popped the frozen biscuits in.  I made eggs.  Than, my son, microwaved the vegetarian sausage.  Liz made coffee.  Sharon made oatmeal, and got the butter and jam on the table.  Five of us making breakfast, all at the same time, all happy and cooperating.  Best meal in ages.

Happy Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Writing.

There's worse presents on Christmas than

a warm spot to curl up in.  (I finally did it. Ended a sentence with two prepositions. Mrs. Newton would be rolling in her grave.)  Happy New Year, Talion! and a hug to Queen V.

Just like a boomerang or a bad penny. Or roaches. I guess there's no getting rid of me. Thanks.

The pleasure's all mine. In fact, if I enjoyed writing any more, I'd have to pay some sort of membership fee to do it. Uh...

TAPS.
That's my niche, the thing that seperates my blog from all the others. The secret is editing and rewriting. Believe me, the rough drafts are nothing like what eventually gets posted. Happy New Year to you and yours as well.

It is so easy to read your posts.  Everything just flows.  Some blogger posts are like "work" to read--something to get through and move on.  But, never Talion.  Smooth, cool, writing.
