As usual, your gift for composition and bringing the reader into your experience. Especially liked 1st part..."touch I never felt/scent of hair/ kiss I never had..."
As your thought turned into the You, had some probs relating, probably because I don't have one close enough in time. So while the 1st part stirred my memories, I began to feel a little off-point, but that's because some memories seem to be eternal (ok, I'm still working on it), and things seem to be fine if I can keep that distance and not fall into it. That was yesterday.
Today I'm doing another read, and would like to note something else I was feeling, then--that the You is somehow nondescritp as a person and/or a memory, and seems to have a vaguer, transcendent/translucent quality--which fits quite well into the love-being "you never had" in the 1st part. And I begin to wonder if the poem does not have some mystical quality, for what is this YOU you seem to turn to? Is this the preparation of a soul's ascent? I wonder.

Sinome
Again and again, beautifully composed. In my life, after long years and painful waiting in solitude, there was a 'you', and she is Kabu.

Wonderful. So many people go through this between relationships or if they've never had one.

Kind of an inner struggle going on – though enjoying this time of night an emptiness creeps in to ruin the that soft moment when you sense the earth begin to slow its turning. So I am left with both a sense of resolve but also a looming sadness. Arousing emotion is definitely your “thing”, Sinome.

Beautiful, Sinome! ~.~
One finds such comfort in thinking of love (even when the source is absent.) Thank you for sharing. Peace, blessings and understanding.

thank goodness for the "yous" we have, or will yet find, to complete our
worlds..

..(I'm reminded of that song "Then Came You" - I have no idea who sings it..lol)...

Your poems are so beautiful and touching, in their thoughts and choice of words, that I am always at a loss of words to respond to them. Hope the year has started well for you. God bless. Nita.
