thanks for reading and writing, sam444, I always agree with azur ; )
And yes, walking in the moccasins of another always teaches something, especially if we walk the path to friendship in them.

I think you have made a lot of sense! I think we should consider the shoes of another! sam

I liked what Azur said too!

Re: I don't think we will ever live in a world without darkness
Thanks, Ciel, I love WH Auden's poetry and this one is lovely and true.

I don't think we will ever live in a world without darkness
and for that very eason, we have to light our candles where and when we can!
Defenseless under the night
our world in a stupor lies,
yet everywhere
ironic points of light flash out
wherever the Just
exchange their messages.
May I,
composed like them
of Eros and of dust,
beleaguered by the same
negation and despair
show an affirming flame.
WH Auden

Re: Indeed
OMG, azur, Exactly.
I want them to spend millions on psychologists and counsellors on t.v. and radio talk shows, etc. helping people to leave this crap behind, rather than feeding it, growing it, enlarging it all with their OTHER solutions to the percieved problems.
These other solutions cost much too much in my opinion.
Thanks for reading with understanding, and for posting a comment. I only care about some people's opinions, and though I accept all, some carry more weight with me.

Indeed
The focus does seem misplaced. Crazy really, I think people have this idea that if they can control these things they will be safe, when the greatest form of control is that of their own fears and feelings.
