Re: Thank you, sam!!
Sometimes, I re-read this one because I'm not sure the cadence works, lol. I too, could be in the role of the recipient as well from time to time! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I thought this was a very fine lyric poem with a wonderful cadence! I felt the spirit of the orator! I could be in that role or one of a recipient! Very nice work! sam

You could probably build a whole book around that one poem. Dark and classy.

Maybe you're not evil, just a fire person. What a great way of expressing it and the risks involved!

You don't have to tell
me how love burns...to a smoldering ash the heart of unrequited love.
Whereas lust burns a fragrant aroma and doesn't hurt nearly as much when it's over.
Excellent poem, as usual.

This is phenomenal writing! The thrill of passion and the risk that we take when we let it consume us!

Let me clear my thoath! Awsome loving and very passionate, fire and flames!
I'm still trying to bring my heart down. I want to share Mother:Portrait O A Hero next to the last poem on the 3rd page. Thank you and I'll continue to read.
