Fear is a shadow that leaps into sight to remind us we are fragile. Love is the web of strength that keep us expansive. Both are a dance inside ,that is forever realized. Take heart and laugh at the shadows!

I agree completely and I am learning to balance in the moments of love - especially those of genuine love for myself, because I don't think it is fair to expect somebody else to carry the burden of defeating my fears.

Well I am convinced that I will get what I truly need... but sometimes it is hard to let go of the dependent habits of the past and embrace an aura of love and trust in the world.

I like the set up in the first stanza, it gives the poem its life line! The second stanza is affirmation, resolution and commitment! It is simply remarkable how dire becomes strength and I resound in the imagery of the second stanza will over come the first! Pretty darn cool! [Or like my son says, "Crazy good."] sam

If you can stay in a moment of love
fear cannot invade. Fear and love cannot exist within the same moment. When you know your fear and let love control, you've won. Nice Poem
