It wouldn't work. He was very, VERY fast! But then he'll probably just lick you until you begged him to stop!

Thank you. And your friend is probably right, but as they say on the in the Pittbull Club, these dogs are not for everyone. However, they did get a really bad rap in the media because of ignorant owners...I believe that the master makes the dog, so although the dog is not to blame, it ends up paying the price.

I have a friend who has a pitt and says she is the most friendly dog he ever had. But, I don't know. My fear of pitt is that once they bite, that's it. You can't pray open their jaws. And with kids around teasing and pulling tails and ears it's a chance I would have never taken. Even a dog that look at you straight in the face as if he/she is the master would have been out of the house. So, I find you quite courageous to look after such a dog.

Not many people approach him..it's his attitude! And I kinda think he could chew threw any fence that I could put up there, or jump over it. Or dig under it. He's a very enterprising hound Will post pics after next installment. Thanks!

Bud thanks you Kabu! LOL. I knew you would love him - being the way you are with animals. The vet also told me he was a fine specimen. Problem is, I think he knows it! LOL.

Re: we love you adnohr! not so sure about little shit. this is a great story!
Thank you ever so much Muley. Acutally, the little Sh*t is lovable, once you get over being wary of him. He's definitely his own dog!

He sure is a handsome doggie, alert, intelligent, and certainly not all that 'little'...I am really looking forward to the next installment. And I'm sure everyone would like to see the other members of the cast as well...

Yes I'll post more pics after the next installment, which is the last of this story. (for real, this time!)! It took me some time to learn how to put the pic in..then realized I wasn't on the right Blogit subscription, which was the reason it was giving me the error message. Up to date on that now, at least!

Re: He looks like a good dawg
Norwood, Smart? Yep! Stubborn? Double-yep! Good? - well, he is now. At the time, because of my lack of know-how and his lack of obedience training, he was real good at driving me to the edge!!! LOL!

From your experiences, I can understand how you would relate to my posts...been there, done that, right? LOL! Thanks for your kind words.

I don't know adnohr. he looks a little scary to me I will tell you a little story about a shepherd that my son dropped off to me. mind you every one called me the dog lady.this dog was the dog from hell. When I walked by him he would growl and show his teeth. he was a dam ole yard dog meaner then hell.My son would put him on a tow chain to put him outside that is how strong he was. After we went through the growling stage and i was not going to put up with his shit anymore.Because he was not going to run me. And lord forbid i was not going to run him.We were just buttin strong heads. A kind word is all he needed. He became my best friend. And then muley had to get to know him.but that wasn't that bad.By the way I have a pitt named cloe and a rottie named simon two labs named princess and buddy.Look forward to reading you ,you .make me laugh you make me cry.rhea
