Lol Sam
Today at the office, the guys were still talking about those clips - they still want to work from home. I don't think anyone is going to mention the 'work from home' phrase around there anymore without all of us laughing! Happy you like the story, but yes - I won't fight with Bud forever. It will end.

I know how you feel, I am going to be so sad when this story ends! You have done a marvelous job! I liked how your childhood memory put the bond in motion too! I had to tell you that my son was looking at the youtube clips the same time you were showing to coworkers the other day! Simply amazing! Have a great week! sam

Re: Naut has said it all.
Kabu, thank you. And I can't wait for you to see the pictures of Ben and Beef. From reading your blog, I feel that you, the animal lover, are going to love the two of them..they are just that sweet!

Nautikos, thank you!
LOL....I'm not sure I could do it again....don't you find that sometimes things happen, and when you look back on it you wonder how you ever managed to pull it off?? And, as you'll see in the next and chapter, his name finally became Budinski - the little rat! I didn't have a digital camera at the time, but will scan the photos I have with Ben and Beef and will post them after the next chapter.

Lol Muley and Rhea! If my heart was that big, I think I would make the world record for chubbiness, no? Thank you for your comment. If I do get published (and I will try!) for sure you guys get the free copy and bottle of tequila!

Re: no need to apologize I don't want this story to end...I love it so !
Thank you Hazel. Being a writer yourself, I guess you know there is nothing more gratifying than having readers tell you they don't want your story to end. It is just the nicest thing!

I would not dream of forsaking this fascinating story, so extremely well told! And I fully understand your final confrontation with the 'Little Sh*t', before he finally became 'Bud'!
In fact, reading along earlier, I was thinking what my own reactions would have been to his challenges...and being the kind of guy who tends to rise to a challenge like a trout to the fly, maybe you can imagine...LOL! And I was wondering when it would finally come to that in your case, and you did it! Fabulous! And you were properly rewarded for your courage!
And I would really like to see pictures of all of you...

This is all so good...
Rhea, and I are laughing ,and crying together as we read it. All good things must come to an end, but we don't want it to. You simply must get this published! I don't believe you will have any problem, you spin a fantastic yarn, and you must have a heart the size of Quebec.
