How tragic and horrible that event in your life... I hope you have someone to lean on in your time of grief. No one should have to endure such a witnessing. BUT you're here, in the now, and you can create a happiness for the both of you! That person would not want you to go through what they went through... they would want you to be happy, so make her proud!

Sad and horrifying account. What a terrible memory to have. I am sorry you lived through that, but as I am sure you know, depression is a silent killer and leaves few if any clues for others to find. The closer one is to the person depressed the harder it is to realize how sick they really are. Your friends pain isnow over and you must try to remember her in her good days and put your pain to rest. You will always miss her and I am sure she knows that where ever she is. My heart goes out to you.
