No matter what goes on in the Universe (chaos)...
the soul / spirit of each & every one of us is immortal (constant), and is an integral part of God / Divinity (biggest constant). When one realizes this truth deep within one's being, all the chaos (puzzle) becomes irrelevant, and one begins to perform one's daily duties in a peaceful, detached manner. Thank you all for sharing your insights, blessings,

God is the only independent variable. The rest are dependent variables. Our troubles arise from the fact that a dependent variable wants to be our independent variable.

The idea of constants chasing variables is exciting but the chaos that follows is certainly not. Great presentation indeed.

Very cool, Ash. I wrote a poem a while back about life being like a mathematical equation and this reminded me of it. Life is a puzzle, indeed, but there IS one constant.

I loved every truth of this, except the last word... I think because WE are relevant to HIM (that BIG CONSTANT), than all constants and variables are relevant and necessary, to place us back with HIM, for even though HE watches and blesses, not all are guaranteed. Definitely, an explorative and perspective piece!!!

This is a great philosophical dictum. Yet I am not convinced that there is a bunch of unchanging constants.
