This is indeed a beautiful story. I wish the others in his party learned about his feat.

How beautiful. Yes, I have helped strangers, along the way, some crying some just lonely, which have caused me to be late for my own appointments, have led some to Jesus, by taking the times to stop. The person is more important, than my appointment

snow! how fantastic! i had shared a similar view with a couple of fellow bloggers recently - the church indeed is in us and the good we do is also the church. this will haunt me for a while now.

Nita, you're right on..people should see Jesus through us..this man's
actions remind me of tthe Good Samaritan" who was a "type" of Jesus...
..
Powerful! I may forward this on for others to read..

I agree that more than quoting scriptures and going to Church, the challeng
is to live the word!

Nita this is perfectly lovely!
A heartwarming story which should not be a novelty; it's a shame there are not many more of these stories to tell my friend; many blessings and thanks for sharing this today

This is simply wonderful. A reminder that following the master is a 'doing' thing! Too many only 'talk the talk' but do not 'walk the walk'!
