there is nothing wrong with using the parts of your mind
that would otherwise be informing you that they are bored - I do that at work a fair bit too (in fact it's where I write)

Oh I remember those days all too well – physically there at my desk ploughing through my work but in fact my heart (and mind) was somewhere else.  And Azur makes a good point....
