Yeah, my shepherd does that too!
No one is safe from the lick-by! He gets everyone: friends, their kids, neighbors, the kitties, the tongue is faster than the eye!

Dogs, even the less than intelligent, certainly have the
fastest tongues on the planet. Any dog can lick a fresh steaming doot, then kiss you in the mouth faster than you can register that the hound just licked a doot.

Just creepy too! Even though I have allowed an animal to lick my wounds before! Don't remember if it made a difference though! LOL on me!
