Terrific!
A great devotion for starting my day. It is a blessing in remembering the things we should be thankful for. I'm thankful that I awoke this morning with thankfulness and praise to God for that thanksgiving and the blessing of reading your blog today. You be blessed and have a joyous day. Loved your post.

This post is such a blessing. You are right about ups and downs. God allows us to have some real downs so he can put us in a higher calling. If Joseph had not gone through a lot he would not have been the most important man in Egypt. Downers can be uppers: The Lord says All things work together for good for those who love him and obey his statutes. Be blessed.

I've read that story before. That doesn't take any of the poignancy away. Loved that post of yours. And yes, I leave the US (not voluntarily believe me) but I am not a resident and therefore can only stay 90 days at a time. But I'll be back after a month or so for another 'helping'.

A lot to think about. Our perception is very important to how we interact with God.
