Re: texasgem
TimmyTales, Sadly enough, some never learn the "cause & effect" law. She came away from the accident without a scratch but her actions could scar this young boy for the rest of his life. I agree & I am for banning the use of cell phones by a driver in a moving vehicle. And the penalty for such should be stiff enough to make a person think twice about texting & driving. Thanks for stopping by!

Texas
I’ve been outraged by this for some time now – why not just drink a cup of coffee and eat a donut at the same time!!!! Texting IS becoming the #1 cause of car accidents....

Thank goodness the little boy recovered. I wonder about the driver that was texting, has she recovered enough to stop this madness? This is a great public service announcement.
I feel that any use of cell phones in a moving automobile should be outlawed with stiff penalties.

Re:
Lustorlove, I know what you mean. I, too, have a daughter (24) who drives fast & texts everywhere she goes. It is like an addiction. When she comes over to visit, the whole time she will be texting. It is not a hazard here (just aggravating) but under the wheel it is very dangerous but her old 57-year old daddy doesn't know a thing. God help us!
