Why, Xenox, you surprise me! You must have been immersing yourself in Fox News, Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck et al, as they were about the only national media that didn't trumpet the latest anti-Bush protests whenever there was a chance to do so.
I heartily agree with your assessment, "Thus we have media that reports mainly pap unfit for public consumption," but defy you to explain how the total infatutation the lamestreamers have with Obama is conservative in nature. Or, God help us all, is Obama conservative in your world?

The protesters were shunted to the side, and I don't recall a bit of coverage of their protests.
Actually, conservative pressure and advertising pressure has emasculated the news media as a watchdog against government abuses.
They are like a puppy being led around by a master that restricts their activity.
And anything they say against your side is immediately attacked as unfair. It began with the Reagan rhetoric and hasn't ended. Thus we have media that reports mainly pap unfit for public consumption.
They have been cowed into submission to conservative bullshit.

I'm with you on this WriterofLight! I'm afraid that "lamestreamers" are responsible for the mess that has taken over Washington DC.
