Re: Truly nice
I had not noticed any real profanity in your blogs; you sometimes write about sex, which is just part and parcel of everyday human life i.e.realism. So far I've skirted round them, because I'm not sure about how to write them without seeming banal, if you see what I mean. Best wishes!

Truly nice
It is a truly nice, endearing story and written so well. I can see your British English in your words and those words and phrases remind me of my youth in New Zealand. I too, thank you for visiting my blogs and hope the profanity isn't upsetting. Any profanity in my blogs is purely to add a sense of realisim. I look forward to more of Jacob and Rachael.

I'm loving your story and I was kind of like Jacob, looked for mechanical work all my life and built my first bike too. You have a skill with this writing and make the characters very clear and believable, good for you luv. Keep 'em coming.

Really enjoying the story....can't wait for the next chapter! Thanks very much for your generous comment on my post! I hope you enjoy the Ruskin Bond book! I met him at the international book fair here in Delhi a couple of years ago-- such a wonderful old man: anyone's favorite grandpa! Have a great weekend. Nita.

Re:
Shelly you are an amazing woman! My brother had bikes and bike acccessories all over the house, you'd have got on with him too.

You wrote some time ago that you are planning to cycle 3000 kms this year.I thought you meant on a stationary bike in a gym; now I'm not so sure, perhaps you intend to bike from state to state. My son-in-law cycled from Denmark to Morocco; so the idea is not strange for me.

I hope you're feeling much better now after your migraine. Enjoy a really peaceful Sunday.

Jacob is a man after my own heart! I would have worked on bicycles for a pittance too, just because I love them! I have a bike shop in my garage and am currently building a bike for my oldest son, a mountain bike using a diamond back frame! Shelly
